Tips For Parents:
-Do a background check on Mom's new boyfriend or Dad's new girl friend before allowing any new person into the life of your kids.
-The worker or sub-contractor which comes to your home should have a background check also, He or She now knows the entire lay out of your home. Do a criminial background check on all contractors entering your home you will be glad you did..
-Parents,listen to your children, watch your children, watch how your children respond around your friends, male & female..
-Parents, let your children know when you have broken off a relationship so your "ex" doesen't show up to pick up your child from school or childcare and your child will know not to go with them.
-Parents, it is very important that when you have broken off a relationship to remove the "ex's" name off of everything having to do with your kids, update paperwork at the schools childcare and all other places.
-Parents always keep current pictures of your children, pictures should not be older than 6 months. I recomend keeping them in a AMBER Alert I.D. Key chain which allowes you to keep photos and criticial information about your child with you at all times, and if your child becoms missing you can give the information in that key chain to any member of law enforcement any where in the world. 7-Parents, teach your kids that when ever they feel unsafe or that they are being followed by someone, to walk towards someone else and let them know that someone is watching or following them.
-Parents, teach your kids never to approach a car or a truck to respond to questions from anyone. "NEVER GET WITHIN ARMS LENGTH OF A CAR OR TRUCK OR VAN"
-Parents, teach your kids how to use their cell phone camera, If your child has a cell phone equipped with a camera teach them that if they are in an unsafe or threating enviorment such as at the bus stop and a car keeps driving by watching or stalking the kids, tell your kids not only to just call 911 or go home and tell mom and dad what happen with no proof, But teach them( if they can safely do so) to "take a picture of the car or car tags or person, then call 911", then when the police show up the kid can give to the police the information that will be very helpful, from their cell phone.
-Parents,Arm your kids with a Whistle, a device which projects louder than their voice put it on a lanyard and teach your kid when to use it. when used it is a universal language that says look this way, it will draw attention to your child very quickly.
